CTLE-Centre for Teaching and Learning Excellance

 

The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) is a resource for faculty, staff and students at G.S.G college who are committed to improving teaching and learning. The CTLE offers a variety of services, including:

The CTLE's mission is to promote innovation and best practices in the use of instructional design and technology  for improving teaching and learning. The CTLE believes that all students can learn and succeed, and that faculty have the power to make a difference in their students' lives.

Goals of CTLE

  1. Essential Infrastructure - Establish  minimum technological/pedagogical requirements for quality instruction and learning. For example: Computers and Internet access,  Lecture recording studio, classroom.
  2. Capacity Building - Develop minimum technological/pedagogical knowledge and skill faculty and staff needed to effectively deliver the content. For example: Use of email, Google classroom, Team Based Learning (TBL) etc... Sustainability
  3. Leadership - Development among faculty, staff and students. For example: Technology champions, Best Teacher at GSG college, Best volunteer etc...
