Department of NSS:
The NSS Unit was introduced in this college in 1979. A unit of 80 students was granted to this college in 1979. Then the number has now increased (including girls unit). The aim of NSS is to promote national consciousness and a sense of social Responsibility, Discipline and Dignity of labour and to help students to develop their personality. NSS programs starts from 6th August every year on the eve of memorial day of Shri. Narayan Patil Wankhede by plantation. More than 150 Boys and 50 Girls participate in NSS every year.

The year 2018-19 instill in us immense feeling of pride as our Cadets were awarded with the following awards in CATC Camp at Yavatmal.
1) CDT. Diksha Sawate is awarded with Gold Medal in “Speech Competition”.
2) CDT. Nikahat Vahidoddin Shaikh and Abhishekh Shinde, awarded with Gold Medal in Gun Firing.
3) CDT. Nikahat Vahidoddin Shaikh is also honored as The “Best Cadet”.
Our N.C.C. cadets have participated in General Drill Competition and owned the first award.
